Paint With Kidcreate Studio - Woodbury

Designed with children in mind, our painting classes are fun and engaging. The creative elements we explore teach children valuable skills. Children will learn about color, line, shapes, and art theory. We keep things interesting with theme-based projects. From sparkly unicorns to stormy landscapes, your child will have a blast expressing their creativity. Our guided lessons provide stimulating, imaginative fun.

We break classes up by age group, tailoring projects to the developmental needs of each child. Toddlers explore the bright colors and fun texture of paint with their bare hands. Older children will learn how to hold brushes, how to manipulate paint, and how to explore art concepts. There is always something to learn at Kidcreate!

When you drop your child off at the Kidcreate Studio, we provide the fun and clean up the mess! Painting classes are a great way for your child to express their creativity without you having to worry about stains on the carpet. Our trained art teachers are experts at fun, creativity, and learning. Every child takes home their masterpiece after class, so you’ll have some beautiful artwork to hang on the fridge.

As a unique art form, painting offers many benefits for children.

Painting is an art form that encourages creative expression and imaginative thinking. The benefits of arts for children are numerous, and painting is no exception. Studies show that early art education places children at an advantage for academics and future successes.

Memory development is a key learning skill for young children. Creative outlets encourage critical thinking, which improves memory skills. Painting, in particular, sharpens the memory as it requires conceptualization. As children visualize what they want to create, they implement memory skills when putting paint on canvas!


Art is often associated with imaginative thinking. The complexities of creating a composition require critical thinking as well. Mixing colors, building shapes, and bringing the imagination to life on canvas is a process that teaches children to think outside of the box.
