Sparkles and Glitter- Oh My!

If your child loves sparkles and glitter, they will love these Kidcreate summer art camps!

  Doodlebugs and Flutterbys (3-6 years) Did you know that 95% of all species on earth are insects? Learn cool facts about bugs while creating beautiful butterflies, lovely ladybugs, brightly colored beetles and more. We'll learn about different creepy crawlies and have fun creating art inspired by the bug of the day. We'll explore several art methods as we create sculptures, paintings and more. This is a great camp for siblings! Glitter and Glow (5-12 years) What rules supreme in your child's world? Art projects that glitter or glow-in-the-dark? No need for your child to choose when you sign them up for this art camp! We will work with a variety of art supplies including clay, glow-in-the-dark paint, and of course, lots and lots of glitter! The kids will create snow globes that glow-in-the-dark, butterflies that shimmer and glimmer, an Eiffel Tower with stars that twinkle, and so much more. Glitter and glow� here we go! My Doll's Big Adventures (5-12 years) Your child and her American Girl� doll (or another favorite doll) will love this art adventure! We'll make all the accessories a doll needs to travel around the world. We'll create jewels fit for a pharaoh, delicious pizza collages, African clay pots, colorful sombreros and more! Pirates and Mermaids (4-9 years) Ahoy mateys and magical mermaids! Let's go on an underwater art adventure. Your child will learn different art terms and techniques as we make pirate ships out of clay, dress up like pirates and mermaids (or mermen), blow oceans of bubbles for our merpeople to frolic in and so much more. Of course, the young pirates will want to talk the talk so, we will practice our "Shiver me timbers" and "Me hearties," during this fun-filled camp too. Shopkins Cute (4-9 years) Come and create the most delicious (and cute) art projects of all time. We will learn step-by-step drawing and sculpting techniques as we create Melonie Pips, D'lish Donut, Berry Smoothie and more of your favorite Shopkins characters. We'll even make a carrying case for you to keep your Shopkins collection in! Grab your shopping carts and let's get creating! This camp is going to be D'lish! Sparkle Spectacular! (4-9 years) Is your child silly for sparkles and giddy about glitter? Sparkles simply are spectacular and kids can't get enough of them! In this camp, the kids will go sparkle crazy! They'll create multiple projects all covered with sparkles and glitter aplenty! They'll learn to draw, play with clay, and more as they work with a variety of different types of clay, paint and other spectacularly, sparkly art supplies. The How To's of Drawing (5-12 years) Does your young artist love to draw? This introductory drawing camp teaches kids the basic techniques and principles of drawing. We'll encourage creativity and imagination while experimenting with a variety of drawing materials and techniques. The kids will even receive their own sketchbook that they will get to keep and draw in throughout the camp! In Kidcreate's fun and supportive environment, your young artist will be eager to get drawing! Think Pink (4-9 years) Is your child passionate about pink? Fascinated by fuchsia? Mad for magenta? Then this camp is for them! We'll create all things pink like flamingos, ballet slippers, glittery snow globes, purses, bubble gum scented silly putty and more. We'll paint, draw and sculpt our way through every shade of pink. The kids will be tickled pink by the projects in this camp! Not so crazy about pink? Just love art and still want to take this camp. No problem! We'll have other color options available for all those who aren't so tickled pink. Tinkerbell and Her Fairy Friends (3-6 years) If you believe in fairies, clap your hands, and come to this whimsical, glitter-filled camp! Your little fairy princess will create a fairy castle, a crown, fairy wings, a wand and more. She will even make her own Tooth Fairy box. With the help of Tinkerbell and her fairy friends, she is sure to experience the magic of art!
