During this self-led time frame, you and your kid will have the freedom to choose from a selection of DIY projects including vibrant painting, intricate drawing, wood structures, and hands-on sculpting in order to explore various artistic mediums. There's something for every budding artist to enjoy!
Project prices vary from $10 to $32 per project and person. Our walk-in open paint session offers flexibility and affordability, making it the perfect opportunity for your family to just walk in and engage in creativity!
Families may create during this open window of studio time with any paid project selected upon arrival. A caregiver is required as this is not a drop-off activity. Appropriate for anyone 6+ years old.
Fall 2024 Open Studio Time Policies
While registration is not needed for this open studio time, when participating at the studio you acknowledge and agree to the following.
If Kidcreate Studio cancels this event, no payment would be due or refunded since project purchases are made only if the event is open and running. If the studio reaches capacity for this walk-in event you may have to wait to enter the studio. We encourage arriving near the start time in order to have a work area for your family.
Children, parents, and instructors agree to stay home if they are showing symptoms of ANY contagious disease. Attendees arriving sick will not be able to stay and will not receive any credit or refund, so we wish everyone to have a healthy season. Handwashing is required upon entry and encouraged frequently because making art is messy fun! Face masks are optional. However, Kidcreate will monitor community health and may have to reinstate a face mask requirement. By entering the studio, attendees agree to wear a face mask if this policy is reinstated.
Caregivers are responsible for instilling kindness with their attendees while in the studio so that all participants may enjoy the space. If anyone presents disruptive behavior, the studio may ask them to take a break outside or they may be asked to leave the studio and will not receive a refund.
Kidcreate Studio is a "process art" studio. We encourage exploration and learning above perfection. DIY projects purchased at open studio events are not refundable.
